BRASS Accents, Inc. warrants to the original consumer that each of BRASS Accents product shall be free from mechanical defects for the lifetime of the product as long as the original consumer owns the product. Subject to the terms and conditions of this Warranty.

Exclusions from Warranty:

BRASS Accents produces it products in accordance with the highest international standards of quality. All our products are manufactured from the highest quality brass available. However, these products are susceptible to small surface indentations and imperfections due to the malleability of the material and the crafting of the product. Although BRASS Accents quality control procedures protect against shipping products of unacceptable quality, a small surface indentation or imperfection may not disqualify a particular product from being considered of the highest quality obtainable. BRASS Accents is committed to producing each item to the most stringent standards of quality and excellence and the final decisions concerning quality and excellence remain exclusively at the discretion of BRASS Accents.

This Warranty does not apply to any defects or malfunctions resulting from improper installation or use, or periodic adjustments as may be required.

This Warranty does not apply when BRASS Accents products are mixed with other latches and locks or trim other than those supplied by BRASS Accents.

This Warranty does not cover the finish of this BRASS Accents products.

BRASS Accents Finish Warranty

There is no warranty on finish other than Lifetime Kick Plates which are warranted against surface defects, excluding dents, for a lifetime.

All BRASS Accents antique finishes are hand rubbed for that authentic

Old World look so valued by todays discriminating consumer. All our antique finishes, brass, copper, and nickel as well as our oil rubbed finish will, through normal use, produce natural relief of the oxidized finish and continue to reveal rich highlights on the raised portion of the design.

BRASS Accents polished brass and antique products are protected with the highest quality lacquers available. Proper care of lacquered brass includes occasional cleaning with a mild soap on a soft cloth and protecting with a quality automotive wax or other wax protectant.

BRASS Accents weathered finishes require no maintenance, but can be cleaned periodically with a mild cleaner on a soft cloth.

BRASS Accents verdigris finish is a live finish and will age and change naturally over time. Because of this aging process, this finish is unsuitable for use in bathrooms and kitchens.
